Just a quick update from the Art4Space team. Our centre remains closed and we are awaiting government guidance on when we can restart some of our services again and what safety precautions will need to be implemented. The safety and wellbeing of all users is our top priority and we have already started work on planning the layout of the centre and garden (we are lucky to have a big space!) and developing procedures. Fingers crossed we’ll be able to restart a limited number of services in July – we can’t wait to open our doors again to the public.

There’s no doubting the enormous challenges this period has created.
For some, lockdown has been very tough indeed. For others simply surreal. Yet the crisis has also created the opportunity to do things differently. Art4Space team have been incredibly inspired by the surge of local organising, the entrepreneurial response, and the wider spirit of society pulling together to get through a tough period. This new spirit and localism feels powerful. I hope it can be harnessed over the long term across our communities, it is something Art4Space have always done well, believing arts and creativity can bring together stronger communities and a deeper connection to our local area through connected projects.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support whilst we have been working in different ways but we honestly can’t wait for our doors to be open again and see you!
