More than 200 residents involved. Over 100 volunteers involved. 11 meters of mosaic and ceramic. Over 20,000 mosaic pieces. 14 kiln firings for ceramics.
RPRMO reached out to Art4Space in May 2019 to work with the community to transform the outside of the Centre, using mosaic and ceramic art, through a programme of participatory workshops. The aim was to help to raise the profile of the Centre, engage more residents in the activities held there and bring colour and life onto the estate.
This project was made possible thanks to funding from Veolia, CEF, LYNCX and Art4Space as well as help from volunteers from Burberry and Beacon Design Co. and more than 60 residents at Roupell Park Estate.
