Art4Space is a leading Community Arts Organisation established in 1999 by a group of 3 experienced and professional artist/teachers.
Art4Space work in several mediums including mosaic, painted murals, sculpture and landscaping. A playground mosaic may be made from textural mosaic materials, hoardings surrounding a building site used as a creative space or a community garden developed from wasteland.
Art4Space mission statement is to increase the accessibility of the arts and to empower various groups in order to develop communication and citizenship, promoting diversity and social cohesion. We achieve this by delivering projects which facilitate participation and ownership in our communities in a positive and uplifting way. We promote investment, pride and creative expression in a fun and shared learning environment.
Art4Space philosophy reinforces the Governments Every Child Matters agenda by providing projects to children and young people that support the 5 outcomes: Be healthy, stay safe, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic well being.
Art4Space are fully constituted with a Board of Trustees. We are a voluntary, nongovernmental and third sector organisation with not for profit status. We have active policies in Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety, Child Protection, Family Friendly, Disability and Special Needs, Arts and Education, Environmental and Code of Conduct. We also run Risk Assessments and follow Best Practice for every project.
